Miriam Center for Peace Education, the Philippines
The Center for Peace Education’s mission is to help advance a culture of peace through education and advocacy. It provides training for diverse sectors and institutions on peace education and peacebuilding, including conflict resolution, throughout the country. It is involved in several peace-related campaigns including arms control, gender equality, promotion and protection of human rights and international humanitarian law, the cessation of armed hostilities, and the institutionalization of peace education, among others.
